Brad Wimmer
Brad Wimmer has been whistling while he works since 1976. Brad is President & Co-Owner of Wimmer’s and a registered jeweler with the American Gem Society. His wife, Deb, teaches at Jefferson Elementary in Fargo. Their son Aaron works & lives in the Minneapolis area. Brad has served 8 years on the Fargo Parks Board and is currently juggling time as a Fargo City Commissioner. He enjoys tennis, golf, pheasant hunting, little Detroit Lake & of course flipping pancakes and selling tickets for Fargo Kiwanis’ world record holding February Pancake Karnival. Brad is also on the board at Union State Bank and current Chairman of the Fargo Arthritis Walk. |
Deb McShane
Deb has been sharing her love for the jewelry industry since 1991. She is an AGS Registered Jeweler, and is involved in both the selling and buying aspect of our business. Her husband Tom is an Audit and Accounting Partner with Eide Bailly LLP. Their two sons, Daniel and Patrick, are both with accounting firms in Minneapolis. She jokes that she should “never have to balance a checkbook again in my life!” Recently married, Patrick and daughter-in-law Tiffany chose an exquisite princess cut diamond from our Private South African diamond collection.
Both Deb and Tom have grown passionate over the country South Africa – having first visited in 2005 on a diamond buying trip. They are returning in May 2008 to celebrate their 30th anniversary with a group of family and friends. The amazing people, landscape, wildlife and requisite “sundowners” have eclipsed into a home of safari treasures and a promise to each to return…again and again! |
Cathy Lulai
Cathy joined Wimmer's Diamonds in 1996. She is a Certified Sales Associate through the AGS, and is involved with both sales and buying. Her husband Ed is a Research Scientist with the USDA. They have a son, Paul, in Minneapolis and a daughter, Michelle, near Dallas, TX. Four beautiful granddaughters (2 from each family!) have been welcomed into the extended Lulai family. Cathy feels "privileged" to become a part of her clients’ lives. There is, however, one great passion for both Cathy and Ed - UND Fighting Sioux sports! (Even though Ed graduated from NDSU!) |
Wendy Thymian
Wendy has been with Wimmer's since 1999. She's an AGS-certified sales associate with a degree in business administration from Minnesota State University Moorhead. She and her husband Jesse have a yellow Lab, Raider. Wendy must like it here, because she convinced her sister—another Jessie—to come to work with her. She's legendary among her colleagues for keeping the store spic and span. We think we'll keep her. |
Carol Menzies
Carol's been at Wimmer's since 1999, but in the jewelry industry for twenty years. She has two children, Kari and Bob, and two grandchildren, Hannah and Jack—and one cat, Clarence. She loves the challenge of selling. A born decorator with a funny bone to match, you can hold Carol responsible for many of our most fabulous displays, dahling. |
Jessie Griewe
Jessie just started at Wimmer's in 2005 as a sales assistant, but she's not a stranger, thanks to her sister and colleague Wendy. She's outstanding on the basketball court - playing each year in high school, her senior year she reached 1000 points! As a result, she's unofficially in charge of our hoop earrings. Jessie attends Minnesota State University Moorhead. |
Renee Dahlen
Renee is a sales associate at Wimmer’s and has been with us since 2007. Renee has a B.S. in Social Work from the University of North Dakota. She and her husband Andy have a son Tyler, twin daughters Katie & Kayla, and a dog Adrian. Renee says her favorite part about working at Wimmer’s is being a part of special moments in our customer’s lives. When Renee isn’t working she has been busy helping plan her daughter Katie’s wedding. |
